Nansha Welcomes Cma-Cgm 18,000teu Mega Vessel “Cma-Cgm Benjamin Franklin” Maiden Call

Wyckoff, New Jersey February 1st, 2016 – The Port of Nansha welcomes the 18000TEU mega vessel CMA-CGM Benjamin Franklin maiden call to West Coast of the US. Once again, Nansha Port proved its capability of accommodating the world’s largest vessels after successfully receiving Maersk’s 3E vessels and China Shipping’s 19100TEU CSCL Globe.

Nansha Port is the only deep water container terminal on the west bank of PRD providing 3 terminals available with quay length of 5,718m across 16×100,000 Tonnage berths. In 2015, Nansha Port hit a new record of 11.7 million TEU to be the largest single port area in the world.
