Port of Nansha is the largest the leading port area in Guangzhou Port to develop container shipping. Nansha Port is developed in LongXue Island which is situated at Southeast of Guangzhou City with total area of 65 square kilometers. It is the geographic and geometric center of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the only deepwater container hub in the west coast of PRD. Comparing with neighboring base ports, Nansha Port Area has vast space for future expansion. The whole island focuses on the development of port, shipping, logistics and shipbuilding industries and existing facilities utilize only less than 40% of the land and shoreline resources.

Port of Nansha, of the Guangzhou Port Group is located on Longxxue Island in South Guangzhou City. Port of Nansha represents approximately 75% of the 23.51 million TEU’s. It is the fastest growing port in South China and the only deep-water port on the Western Pearl River Delta. In a radius of 100 miles the Port covers 14 dynamic city clusters such as: Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhongshan, Jiangment, etc…where many vendors/manufacturers are located.
